We've made these cute animal faces out of fall leaves. The kids loved it and it's a fantastic way to remember the parts of the face.

QUIET BOOK: SHAPES

I've finished my first ever quiet book and I'm super duper excited!!The book is not perfect ( irregular blanket stitch, terrible problems attaching velcro, binding the book was a bit of a headache,..) but I'm very happy with the final result.  All the pages were inspired by things I found online, mostly Pinterest.

When I teach my students the shapes I want them to learn the nursery rhyme The Wheels on the Bus, so I sewed these pages.

This led me to a new felt project: Rhyme Time. I'm now working on a felt book containing some of the most famous nursery rhymes and songs.
